Travel many nautical miles, gauge lighthouses, recognize buoys, assess current, plan route, conduct collision soundings, practice radar, night sailing, interpret weather reports, rules at sea. This is a selection of the skills that will be discussed during this short but intensive training.
Sea Sailing School Scheveningen is planning many rounds of North Holland and Zeeland this season. All coastal navigation skills are discussed during a number of long sailing days.

FOR WHOM?
We recommend this course especially for sailors who want to achieve levels CWO Zeezeilen II / RYA Coastal Skipper or higher and who would like to see and test the knowledge of navigation in practice. Due to its intensive character, it is also a good course to experience where your own limits lie with regard to fatigue, drowsiness, concentration, etc. Knowledge about yourself, your own limits and reactions is very important when planning larger trips safely.
